Burial information
« on: Friday 21 August 20 18:04 BST (UK) »
Hello

Looking for some help to locating any burial information to my grandfather...

I have contacted the local council of where he was living at time. Also the council of where he died but neither have his burial recorded within the area...

To our knowledge he has no link to anywhere else within the UK. Ive checked all national records (find a grave etc) no luck.

Is there any where else I could check?

Have you looked for a funeral notice in the newspapers? That would at least specify the graveyard.

Might you be able to get any clues from any place of worship he was connected with, or which might have performed the funeral - eg ask them where their members were usually buried at that time?
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

I'm not too sure of any of these details, unfortunately my mum was young at time of death and never saw her father :) thanks for the suggestion though I' might try just a couple of places of worships around his last known address to see if they can suggest anything :)
