Hi Jamjar the reason being that is the name Isabella GIBSON has on her marriage certificate for mum.  Looks very much like MARGARET WILLIAMSON? Regards Dianna

If you purchase one of the children’s birth certs, on SP, you will have the mother’s maiden name.

There is always the possibility that she was married prior the marriage to Alexander.
