More work to do  ;D ... still unresolved is finding the death of Mary Louisa nee Terry JACKSON  ;D

Have you eliminated this death. Age is not quite right but noticed the Grantee is a Charles JACKSON
https://www2.mcb.wa.gov.au/NameSearch/details.php?id=KB00078960
Mary JACKSON Aged (Years) 65; Date of Death: 05/01/1946

Here's the family notices (two) for that Mary JACKSON, it lists her as the dearly loved wife of Charles, and loved mother of E, A, T, M, and H.  And a further notice includes a daughter P.

https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/50319284  The West Australian 7 Jan 1946.

JM.

Thanks JM, so can eliminate her......back to the drawing board  ;D

This article gives the then ages of a Charles Oscar JACKSON (65) and his connection to a Charles HOLLINGWORTH (37) and a police matter involving them both....

https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/32546663 West Australian 7 Sept 1932.    It would seem likely that this particular Charles HOLLINGWORTH would have been the son in law of a Charles Oscar JACKSON.

Murchison Times and Day Dawn Gazette  9 Jun 1908 p3
https://trove.nla.gov.au/search/advanced/category/newspapers?l-
I WILL not be responsible for any Debts Contracted by my wife (Mary Jackson) from this date.
C. O. JACKSON, Meekatharra.
June 8,1908.

Western Mail 5 Aug 1920  p19
https://trove.nla.gov.au/search/advanced/category/newspapers?
HOLLINGWORTH—JACKSON.—On July 24, at S.D.A. Church, Sewell-street, East Fremantle, by the Rev. Pastor C. Harker, Charles, the third son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Hollingworth, of Dalgety-street, Cottesloe, to May Irene, only daughter of Mr. C. O. Jackson, of Meekatharra.

So if the ages are 'right' as per the newspaper, Charles Oscar JACKSON would have been born in about 1867.  (the image clearly has 65, the OCR has mis-read it as 45).

Thank you all for your very extensive and detailed research. What tangled webs these people appear to have weaved?
Mary Louisa's parents died in 1881 and 1891 when she was 5 and 15; at 1891 she was working as a servant in Chiddingley which was near her home; I can only assume that as an orphan by 1894 she went as a servant on the Port Victor along with lots of other young girls to make a better life for herself. It seems unlikely that she'd have moved to NSW, so I think you must be correct about her staying in WA. There is a tree on Anc about Leonard Foley, which says that Thelma was born 1909 which would fit in with the 'divorce' in 1908-I've written to the owner to find out if they know anymore.
