Oh is this the same address for Philip Carroll on his marriage to Ellen Clarke in 1922

Ellen would be too young though

Philip's death you can finally read the name clearly but is it the same as the Ellen death cert

Sinann,
I have just spent ages trying to decipher the address, and have just found Philip Carroll’s death and then the marriage.
I was really pleased and there you are  ;D

I think all matches  :)

Something odd here
Anglo Celt March 15 1958
Mrs Ellen Carroll Monaghanoose who has died at an advanced age was the widow of Mr Philip Carroll well known pork butcher of some twenty years ago.

There is no death cert for an Ellen Carroll in March only the one for April so is it the same woman registered late.

I was going off this post re the ‘definite’ knowledge.

First of all thank you. Next apologies as my thinking was not right.

The only definite record I have is the death in 1958 for the Ellen I am trying to find.

The family were of the opinion that her maiden name was Clarke.

Thank you very much. I believe they are who we are looking for. It never dawned on me to look under Ellie.

Oh so that looks correct then  :)

So you are looking for Ellen/Ellie Clarke born about 1889 with a father Michael and possibly from Curkish/Corkish  :-\
