You are all amazing. I have been searching for so long and suddenly I'm overwhelmed.

This does fit in with my mother's story that Robert O'Connors wife died, possibly in childbirth.

I'm amazed at how far apart these children were born, I was hoping they were all somewhere near Athlone  and maybe that is why i haven't found them.

Not on Irish Genealogy.ie  Were they R.C.? They may have married before civil registration of Catholic marriages began in Ireland.

Reply #7 has Patrick Born 1860, Drumcree, Armagh.

I think his is the earliest birth we have found.

Registration for Catholic marriages began in 1864 so you would be looking at parish records.

You could try Drumcree to see if they married there but they did move around a lot.

There was also a Martin Mills & Mary (GAVIN) who had 2 children baptised there, 1889 & 1894.
