Jones,Corwen

Hi all,
You've helped me on numerous occasions in the past and thank you for that.
My great grandfather, Isaac Jones b1844 and his wife Ellen b1845 lived for some years at 85 London Road Corwen.

One of there children (Isaac Alun b 1884) was my grandfather (Taid).
I know from the census' that he had siblings Jane E b 1871, Eliza b1875, Edith b1878 and John L b1880, however, that's all I know about them!
I would like to know what became of them and whether they had children and grandchildren that i could try to make contact with.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked for them on later censuses?  Unfortunately due to the large number of "Jones" it's difficult to pinpoint marriages for the girls

Using Corwen as the reg district throws up 3 marriages 1900-1911 for a John L Jones depending on whether he was Lewis or Lloyd

1891-1901  3 marriages for Jane Elizabeth & one for Jane Ellin Jones

1895 - 1908 - Only one Eliza & one Edith

FindmyPast has the marriage, on 21 Jan 1903 at Corwen Parish Church, between:
John Lloyd Jones, 23, b., Fireman of 4 London Rd, Corwen, son of Isaac Jones, Engine Man & Elizabeth Jane Jones, 25, s. of Rectory, Corwen, dau of Joseph Jones, Platelayer. Witnesses: Isaac Alun Jones & Margaret Ann Jones

Hi, yes 4 London Road and not 85 as I thought. I reckon Johns middle name was probably Lloyd as My mothers brother was a Lloyd.

Looking at the original it is "Jno Ll Jones"
