So how are you meant to play games then?  What, if anything, is replacing Flash?
 

Exactly. We have got till 31st December this year and then it will be gone. The Industry has known about this problem since 2014 at least. 

Anybody would think that Boris had something to do with this ...

I'd expect any popular web browser based games that use Flash have already been re-written as HTML+JS+SVG. But if they haven't already then you can probably kiss them goodbye, as the web browser makers will be removing Flash very soon.

Note that any (well, almost all) online games that are played on phones, tablets, PCs or consoles will be uneffected by this as very few are developed in Flash.
