George Anson
« on: Thursday 27 August 20 14:37 BST (UK) »
I am having difficulty tracing the marriage of George Anson born 1786 in Brayton,Yorks.  died 1846, Yorks. and Hannah ? born abt. 1790 in Haddlesey, Yorks. died 1864, in Selby, Yorks.
I keep getting hints of a Hannah Siswick Marrying a George Hanson 1800 at Horbury, Yorks. but it can't be right as the name, area, and dates don't work out (George would have only been 14)
Any help would be appreciated.

Mabel Bagshawe, that looks good. Going by 1841 census we have the below in Brayton

It very well could be right. The place, date and the name Hannah are right.
I have come across the name 'Anson' being misspelt on many occasions
