The confirmation of the marriage certificate does verify for you that the name of the daughter Laurie Elizabeth Julian was the daughter of your friend.  Your friend still living according to the obituary 5 January 2019.  Possibly still living with the daughters partner - have come across them both at the same address.
The California link in earlier reply was just a coincidence there was someone else with the same birth date as your friend.

Brilliant sleuthing, thank you RJ137, Sandra and oldohiohome.  The pieces are now coming together. I do have an Anc. sub but not for USA.

T.J. was anglican when I knew her. It would appear T.J. after her divorce from R.L.P. married a man surname Julian.

From obit I now know Laurie's aunt Dorothy married a Sutherland; have now found marriage 1964 in Liverpool - so have something to work on over here in U.K.

From Laurie's marriage certificate I now have the address she and Corrine were living, so poss Corrine still living there?? ooops no, they moved to Whidbey Island.
Is it possible to find  where in 2019 Lauri died??

My friend Thelma, now using her middle name of Elizabeth, and I are in email contact; I have been able to send her photo's from our school days, including the trip to Paris in 1956 - she no longer had her copies.
The power of the internet and good folk who gave their time and knowledge, have enabled me to find her.
