Family Tree for O'Hanlons of Belfast
« on: Friday 28 August 20 20:07 BST (UK) »
Is anyone aware of a family tree for the Belfast O'Hanlons?  Family includes Robert (who married Alice McNally) and Martha (who married Franky Corr). Thanks

Hi jwmoris 16,
https://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/o'hanlon has no Belfast O'Hanlon trees but has 7 McNally entries
I checked the Belfast forum genealogy search engine for O'Hanlon where there are 67 results but no Robert listed
I checked findagrave in Belfast for Robert and Alice without success

because you are possibly wanting details of living people you will be censored by the rules of rootschat

should you not be searching elsewhere
eg if you live in northern Ireland try a big library for recent street directories or if you live overseas try perhaps
BT white pages

good luck in your quest

Hi Morris,

I'm pretty sure we're researching the same family. My grandfather Joseph is brother of James, m. Martha Russell. Think Robert m. Alice is their son, according to my aunt.

I've pieced lots together by now. Happy to send you my tree.

All the best,

Karl

Original poster hasn't been online since last year and didn't respond to the details BallyaltikilliganG posted so you may not get a reply but I notice more details on other O'Hanlon thread-
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=17390.9 (original poster here also posted there- see reply #12)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

thanks Aghadowey,

I've been replying to that one too but not much action!

Think I've mostly cracked as much as I can with the records that are currently consultable online so trying to make connections at this stage.

All the best,

Karl
