Eliza Devereaux
« on: Friday 28 August 20 15:04 BST (UK) »
Hi my great great grandmother was called Eliza Devereaux born 1840's and was married to Patrick Curran. She must have died prior to 1901 as her husband is listed on the census as widowed when he was 60. They lived in Carrick-On-Suir. I have no other information on her but thought there could well be a link to your enquiry.

Hello and welcome   :)

This looks like Eliza’s death in 1897

Thank you so much for this, it is definitely my Eliza Devereaux. I have also taken your advice and asked the moderator to split the thread.

Looks like they had three children in Carrick-On-Suir in 1860s/early 70s.

Hello again,

If you are looking for information, it is best to say what you have already and what you are looking for. That stops us giving you what you know already.  :)

Is this Patrick in 1901?

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Tipperary/Carrick_On_Suir/Grey_Stone_Street/1694205/

If so, then you know his daughter is Ellen.

Wexflyer has indicated that there are three children born in Carrick-on-Suir in 60s/70s.

This is a useful site for searching births since 1864
