Missing and unaccountable Kirks.

The following Kirks have eluded me, any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated
Birth, deaths where applicable, and any families if possible please:

John Kirk 1855- Linden Mill,– Galashiels, Selkirkshire married Jessie Thomson 1857-1880

Annie Kirk -1947 Foresthall Home & Hospital, 659 Edgefauld Road, Glasgow
Maybe Annie Bruce nee Kirk Wright 1890-?

Benjamin Kirk 1926-– Falkirk, Stirlingshire married Marion E Bowers 1926- deaths unknown, children accounted for

William Kirk 1905- Earls Lane,– Falkirk, Stirlingshire

James Kirk 1812-–1882 Kensington, London

James Kirk 1814-– Australia?

George W Kirk married Margaret L Carruthers 1838-1922
Children:
George Carruthers Kirk 1875- in Lockerbie, Dumfries-shire married Eleanor Graham 1871-1909
Robert Jardine Kirk 1867-1909 in Dryfesdale, Dumfries-shire married Catherine Anderson 1870-1898
Reginald Dillon Hall Kirk 1894-1950, in Greenock, Renfrewshire married Agnes C Kirk 1878-1939


Edited , possibly living.

Foresthall, Springburn, was the Barony Poorhouse,Barnhill, re-used as Foresthall Hospital.

George Carruathers Kirk of St Andrews Cottage Lockerbie Dumfriesshire - "spinster" ? died 18 November 1926 - confirmation of Agnes Carruthers Kirk - spinster - sealed London 25 January 1927.

Married Eleanor Graham - 1903

George Carruthers Kirk - Eleanor Graham -1903 - 479/ 122 - Falkirk.

The probate for Robert Jardine Kirk - died 3 February 1909 Poolhouses - probate 19 April 1909 Dumfries Scotland.

Robert sometime of Cape town  Cape Colony , commercial traveller, thereafter of Poolhouses, Lockerbie
Confirmation granted Dumfries - George Welsh Kirk and Margaret L Carruthers or Kirk. Both reside Poolhouses.

I know of 2 guys called Kirk from Saltcoats, don't know if they were related though. H. Kirk, born 1943ish  played professional football and D. Kirk was at Ardrossan Academy, he would have been born 1946ish.

That's great. No thank you or gratitude for people researching, just a curt remark.
We explore all possibilities and spend a lot of time doing it. The probate for Robert Jardine Kirk  may have revealed names of children had he had any.

Some of the names you have quoted could be living people. Many people born 1933 and 1935 are still living.

Have you checked Scotland People for death records ?

As the 2 people you mention were born in the 1940's - are they now deceased?  Rootschat has a no living persons policy so unless you know they have died you need to remove their names from your reply
