henry ? eider

help needed for middle think its Henry ? Eider but not sure

It looks to me as though his name is Henry Heath, and "Eider" could be a nickname, the subject of the picture, the name of the house he lived in, etc etc.

I thought it looked like a mount for a picture, so if it's a book, scrub my second suggestion, and I guess it's most likely part of an address. Or how about the name of a luxury yacht with its own library?

It's tricky. If we take the first character as H, then it consists of a swirly loop and then a downward stroke with a cross for the bar of the H. But the swirly loop doesn't appear in the supposed second H for Heath. Also, the letter that extends below the line looks more like a p than a y. I'm not convinced by 'Eider' either - the e doesn't look the same as the one in 'Heath'. Having said that, I can't offer anything constructive 
Was the book in English?

I think it's a rather stylised signature, with the descender of the 'y' in Henry swooping up and round to become the first stroke of the 'H' in Heath.

Apart from the first stroke, the rest of the 'H' in Henry and Heath is virtually identical.

I go with Henry Heath "Eider" although the second e in Eider doesn't match the other e's so could it be Eidor.

Could it be 'Eidre'?
