A heading and what I assume is a Latin will
« on: Sunday 30 August 20 21:51 BST (UK) »
Kia ora

Can anyone tell me roughly what this says the will of Johannes Archarde.

The first one sentence is on a separate page but I assume that is the 'heading' of the will.

I would like to know roughly what the brief document says, not the probatum, I have the standardish one written down somewhere already.

Proved at Lambeth, 16 July 1502, administration to the executors, inventory and accounts due before the Feast of St James the Apostle; sworn.

Many thanks.
So the very first 'heading' is simply the date?

It’s not a heading, but the first line of the text. It just happens to fall at the end of the page:

In dei Nomine Amen ultimo die mensis Decembris Anno Domini Mill(esi)mo quingentesimo jo ...

In the name of God Amen on the last day of the month of December in the year of the Lord one thousand five hundred and 1 ...
