Sometimes if a staff photograph exists people can be recognized

Welcome to rootschat, canadiana.

Are there any particular potential employees you are interested in, what sort of time period are you looking at, and where, so far, have you looked for information?

Thanks to you both for your response to my query..  I have seen pics of Rossie Castle and read the brief history of it.  My John Dickie as told by some Family worked as  record keeper ( accountant ) for Rossie Castle.  He was born approx. 1815 at Glenbervie Mearns and married ( 1st Wife whom died in Scotland ) Jane ?  married at Rossie Mills..    He and second Wife Jean Renwick and his son's immigrated to Canada appro. 1856.  Not sure when he would have been employed at Rossie Castle
