Thanks to you both for your response to my query.. I have seen pics of Rossie Castle and read the brief history of it. My John Dickie as told by some Family worked as record keeper ( accountant ) for Rossie Castle. He was born approx. 1815 at Glenbervie Mearns and married ( 1st Wife whom died in Scotland ) Jane ? married at Rossie Mills.. He and second Wife Jean Renwick and his son's immigrated to Canada appro. 1856. Not sure when he would have been employed at Rossie Castle
