Leonard George Thomas b Q3 1895 Willesden Middx

The above was the son of Charles Joseph Thomas and Sophia nee Curwood; he married it seems Henrietta Symons Q3 1916 in Edmonton, Middx; Henrietta passed away 27 Jun 1960 in Enfield, Middx.
Leonard passed away  10 Apr 1962  in Queensland, Australia and was buried at Ravenshoe Cemetery, Herberton, I believe. His death record shows his correct parents but I wonder why he went to Australia  unless to visit his brother Harold Rowe Thomas who lived there and passed away at Mount Gravatt 30/8/1973.
His other brother, Ernest William died 23/6/1973 in Adelaide and was buried at Centennial Park Cemetery.
Is it possible to find obituary notices for the brothers especially Leonard George as there is some doubt as to his marriage to Henrietta and I wonder if she is mentioned in an obit?

The Leonard George THOMAS who died 10 April 1962, and was buried Ravenshow Cemetery was aged 65 as per image 61 of 71 of the Burial Register which includes column headings "Denomination and Late Residence'.  So I also note that Leonard was C of E and was late of Ravenshoe.

I have to wonder if Amy and Leonard were related prior to marriage.

Amy has a son with ROWE as a middle name and Leonard has a brother with the same.

I think William George Thomas and Charles Thomas were brothers. I could be on the wrong track of course. 

That would make Leonard and Amy first cousins.

Wow! You've all been very busy researching Leonard and his brothers. Seems odd Jamjar that one of the Crabbe children was Alfred Rowe Crabbe, Rowe was the middle name of Leonard's grandmother who was Jane Rowe Edmonds, maybe just a coincidence? Leonard's brother, Harold was the only one of the grandchildren who carried the name within his.
I have now obtained Leonard's marriage and death certificates which are more expensive than here by about a pound each! Maybe the registrars misheard his mother's maiden name which was Curwood not Carwood.
Leonard was 30 when he married Amy and she was 45, both were born in London it says.

If I am correct then Jane Rowe Edmonds was also the grandmother of Amy.

Jamjar, according to Findagrave for Amy, her father was the son of Joseph William George Thomas and Jane Edith Rowe. I imagine that Thomas and Rowe must be common names in Devon?
Amy's father appears to have migrated to Australia whereas Leonard's father didn't but he and 2 of his brothers did. According to Leonard's death certificate he lived in Cairns for 40 years so must have migrated when he was about 26, say c 1921-wonder if there are any immigration or passenger lists for him?
