Charlwood Lawton

Ralph or Ralf Lawton a surgeon general in the army, who died in 1692 in Egham, Surrey is recorded as having a father Charlwood Laughton. Possibly the Charlwood is a reference to his mother's maiden name?

Can anyone find any further records to this Charlwood Laughton.

Ralph Lawton also had a son called Charlwood Laughton (1660-1721)

From a bit of googling Katherines Father was a Willian Charlewood of Kent
