There's a birth for a Teresa Kelly Nov. 1892 Co. Westmeath.
Parents William Kelly Farmer & Mary Kelly formally Buckley.
Born at Lara (Cloon).
Need to find a marriage c. 1883.
Later
Marriage:
Jan. 1st. 1883 at the RC Chapel Cloon Lara.
William Kelly/full age/Bachelor/Farmer.
Resident of Lara. Father David Kelly/Farmer.
Maria Buckley/Full age/Spinster/Farmer.
Resident of Suntown. Father Charles Buckley/Farmer.
Both signed own hand.

Thanks for this too I have Joseph in my family tree although the birth date listed was simply "about 1900". I'm quite bad at reading the handwriting on these PDF pages, am I right in assuming his birth listed here is June 27th 1899?

A couple called Charles Buckley and Mary/Maria Maloney had a number of children baptised in Ballyloughloe RC parish (the earliest I can see is 1854), including a daughter Mary Ann on 18 January 1861.

Although I can't yet find the death registration, the reference to Suntown made me think that this is Charles:

This is all great information, thanks! Mary Buckley was indeed born in 1861, although I had not been able to find the exact date before now. I strongly suspect that all the evidence you've collected does indeed point to these being her parents.

Thank you all SO much for the help you've all given. Signing up to this forum has helped me more in a single day than literally a year of my own searching. I would greatly appreciate any more insights anybody may be able to give, and I profusely thank everybody who has taken the time to contribute so far.

I'd appreciate any information on any of the families, but what I'm primarily looking for is information on the direct paternal line of William and David Kelly. The family rumours say that there should be three more people named 'David Kelly' on the direct paternal line that all come directly before the one who died in 1900, although I have no idea how I might verify this. My paternal grandfather repeatedly told me were part of a sept of the Kelly family known as 'Breagh', and some internet searching led me to this page. I have no idea how factual it is, but it's an interesting read nevertheless.

If anybody could help me with any additional information or possible avenues of information to check, I'd be highly appreciative. Thank you once more to everybody who has replied so far and pushed me a little further on my journey!

Best to stick to what you can prove & see if it leads to the O'Kelly clan
although it's that far back you'll probably get lost in the mists of time.
So what you're asking for is the extended family of David Kelly b. c. 1810.
