It was renamed Tughall Grange after 1895  1871 https://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/side-by-side/#zoom=16&lat=55.54233&lon=-1.67232&layers=6&right=BingHyb

The 1881 Census Has Tughall Grange crossed out and Shank Hall entered. 1891 has Tughall Grange.

appreciate it may be a long-shot, but does anyone know about the cutthroat plantation at tughall grange/shank hall? where the name came from etc...

any help would be greatly appreciated!!
