TNA Trafalgar database query

The TNA Trafalgar database is a great resource although I've failed to find an answer to a question about its compilation. Some of the sailors I've looked at have details of NOK and/or who their allotments were paid to; others have no information like this. In the latter instance, does it mean this information isn't available on the original record? I'm reluctant to go ahead and order a copy of the original if it's clear to start that further info isn't shown on it.
