Thomas Preynold and Mary Waters Welshpool

Hi there all,
I am currently trying to find out the parents of both Thomas PREYNOLD and Mary WATERS who I have as marrying in Welshpool on the 24th May 1779 .I don't know which church sadly and know I will probably need a parish record anyone able to a lookup at all please?

Marriages pre 1.7.1837 do not show fathers names.  Mothers names are never shown.

Unless one of their witnesses was surname Preynold or Waters it’s unlikely sight of the entry will help find their respective parentage

Marriage image is on F M P - Married at Welshpool, both of the parish.  Witnesses Jacob Humphreys & David Lewis.  Jacob witnesses all of the other marriages on the page.

Thankyou Rosie! So in theory then the births should be out there too if their parish was welshpool.

OTP only means that is where they were living prior to their marriage, not necessarily where they were born

You only had to be resident in the parish of marriage for 3 weeks so they could have been born anywhere.  Did they have a son Samuel?

there is a Samuel and a daughter Sarah Ive discovered. What I have also found just is a marriage for David Lewis and MaryPreynold,Which is weirdly the witness at her marriage to Thomas Preynold.
