Many thanks for that excellent Donegal Newspaper report

"Possible connection - John Hamilton of Inishmacsaint married Mary Anne Fawsett of the Parish of Kilbaron on 7 February 1837 in Inishmacsaint Church of Ireland parish, witnessed by William Fawsett and James Hamilton."

I will follow the FAUSETT name that appears later with, Mary Anne Elizabeth Fausett Hamilton who died young.

... Possible connection - John Hamilton of Inishmacsaint married Mary Anne Fawsett of the Parish of Kilbaron on 7 February 1837 in Inishmacsaint Church of Ireland parish, witnessed by William Fawsett and James Hamilton.

September 15 1854
At her residence, on the Mall, Ballyshannon, on Monday, the 4th inst., in the 39th year of her age, MARY ANNE, relict of JOHN HAMILTON, ESQ., of Mill View

http://donegalgenealogy.com/kilbarronbmdnotices.htm

So it looks like Mary Anne Fawsett was born c. 1815, married in 1837 and died in 1854.  According to the relevant 1901/11 census returns and death registration, Richard Alfred Hamilton was born c. 1844/45.

Dublin and Derry newspapers in late October / early November 1839 carried the following birth notice, possibly an older brother to Richard Alfred:
At Millview Lodge, county Donegal, the lady of John Hamilton, Esq, of a son.
