the brewer family

can anyone help. as part of my research, i need any information on the brewer family. father was george mafeking brewer,mother was anna(nee dobbs) three children. stanley-brinley-dilys.
 
Cardiff based with Cathays and splott. links also from the Bridgend area. father and sons had possible connections to haulage/removals and also garage work.  all deceased now .

This looks like George's birth registration from the GRO but with his first names the other way round.

BREWER, MAFEKING  GEORGE     IRELAND 
GRO Reference: 1900  J Quarter in CARDIFF  Volume 11A  Page 383

This might be his parents marriage

Marriages Mar 1883   
BREWER    Frederick        Droitwich    6c   419    
IRELAND    Martha        Droitwich    6c   419

I'll check the 1901 census.

Are you sure his mother was Anna Dobbs?

Just realised you meant Anna was George's wife.

He is on the 1901 census with parents Frederick and Martha and five older siblings.

Mafeking G Brewer married Anna M Dobbs in 1921 see www.freebmd.org.uk

Have you looked them up on the 1939 register?

In September 1958 Clifford Brinley Brewer of Colum Place is in the newspapers.  He was found not guilty.

Stanley Brewer was the father of a fried, who I am helping to build a tree.
