WW2 Army wills
« on: Monday 07 September 20 14:41 BST (UK) »
Hello,

While searching will and probate before, I’d noticed soldiers’ wills. I’m trying to find the will of Driver John Leslie Boulton (T/22226), who died in France on the 1st of June 1940. He was known as Jack, and is recorded as Jack Boulton on the war memorial in the village in Wiltshire he lived in. Can his will be found anywhere, presuming he wrote one?

I’d appreciate any help!

If nothing shows up under Soldiers Wills, look in the ordinary Wills in case he had made one before enlisting. If you can’t find anything after those searches, it is quite likely he didn’t make one, not all soldiers did.

I hadn’t consulted the regular wills. I’ll do that now!
