Grace (Farrell) Keiser or Hugh D Farrell lookup
« on: Monday 07 September 20 17:57 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am trying to find the death and burial of Grace (Farrell) Keiser, born April 1880, (probably Wheeling), West Virginia. She was the wife of Clyde N Keiser, who died in Pittsburgh in 1945 and is buried in South Side Cemetery. Grace's name is on the headstone but her death date is not.

She was at 201 Reifert Apt 3, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the 1959 city directory.

I don't expect her to have an obituary, but if someone can find one I would appreciate it very much.

Her only sibling who died after 1959 was her brother Hugh D Farrell, whose obituary appears 28 August 1965, in the Central New Jersey Home News, New Brunswick, NJ.

I can tell from the index that Grace's name appears in Hugh's obituary. Can someone tell me if she was dead or alive when Hugh died? And if alive, where was she living?

Thank you very much.

Thank you, Sandra. Could you look at this one as well?

Her only daughter, Mildred, was my father's first wife. She died in 1934.

Thank you, that must be her, with "friends received", no mention of survivors, and buried in the same cemetery as her husband.
The latest Pittsburgh city directory at ancestry in 1960 and the PA deaths end in 1967, so probably no way to prove it. But I think I will close the book on her.

Thanks, I had Mildred's. and there was one for her in the Butler Pa paper as well, which a library copied for me one time.

Have you tried calling the cemetery for her death date?
