Lost list
« on: Wednesday 09 September 20 18:36 BST (UK) »
I feel like screaming !!

This afternoon I was just trying to get my head round a list of baptisms/marriages when my husband asked me a question. After sorting out his problem it was then too late to carry on, now just going to revisit it, the list is lost !! I think it`s in the bin, it can stay there !!!!!!

This particular may be at the end anyway; there`s 2 marriages, both John Robinsons who married Anne in the same village within 3 years. I can`t quite decide which one in "mine"

Going to leave it for a few days, which has already happened once, but it was a year !

Don't you just hate it when you are needed elsewhere when you are trying to crack the case regarding someone long since dead.

My brain was "really" in gear , but as soon as he spoke, it went bananas and has stayed like it !

I`m going to try and ignore this line for a while, then try again. Why couldn`t one of the Johns married someone with another name. I suppose that`s why we all stay hooked.

Just start looking for the children born shortly after the first marriage and before the second one for starters - the 2 Johns may have different occupations which may be shown on the baptisms.

Alternatively they may both be Labourers or Ag Labs - or no occupation shown (Heaven Forbid!!)

Good Luck!!

This family was in Lincolnshire.

Could this be moved to the Lincolnshire board ?
Thanks
