Dennis Desmond Newman 1931-2006

I would appreciate any help in tracing the family of Dennis Desmond Newman (1931-2006), who was born in Hackney but grew up in 50 Hardy Road, South Wimbledon with brother Ronald Lionel J Newman and sister Joan A Newman.  He married Jean and lived at 81 Lavenham Road, Wimbledon Park, in the 1950s.  He died in Milton Keynes in 2006.

Thanks Jamjar.  Joan A. Newman was a half sister, mother's maiden name Beard.

The reason I was asking is "I cannot find a marriage for them in England"

Many thanks Kloumann for looking.  I couldn't find a marriage either.  Electoral registers have them living together as Dennis D and Jean A Newman in the 1950s (1953-1957), so I have assumed they were married. 

For a few years in the late 1950s (1955-57), Ronald L J and first his wife Doreen M Newman were also living with them at 81 Lavenham Road.  Gertrude A Bulling is also at at the address through 1953-1957, but I don't know who she is.  Dennis's mother in law perhaps, or maybe the house was divided with unrelated tenants?

In the 1953 electoral register, Dennis D and Jean A Newman, Gertrude A Bulling, and Dennis and Minnie E. Holmes are at the house, but again I don't know who the Holmes were (whether unrelated tenants or perhaps his wife's relatives).

Thanks Kloumann.  Hard to know.  I think some houses in London, even small ones, then as now had a lot of tenants.

Dennis's birth in 1931 is registered in both Newman & Holloway which suggests that his parents were not married. However, Ronald's birth in 1932 is only in Newman.

Cannot find a marriage for his parents or one for his father to Joan's mother ( Beard)
