Looking at this photo the cardigans make me think post war ..im not sure why .

My great grandmother Maria died at 28 Alfred Road 
In 1939 it was her daughter Henrietta Daulman separated from husband who was listed head of house .
Someone has noted that when Mr PARRY died he didnt leave Ellen a house because they were only renting  so she moved in with her sister .

Ive got one of Ellen in gallery of ancestry in years between but downloaded that directly so it wont be correct format.

They never dated photos & rarely named them
But occasionally added places....I wonder if thats what the thought theyd forget

When reducing size I dont understand the option
Do I reduce the size in boxes or the quality until mb number reduces and if so to what ?

             1 byte is 8 binary digits which is the smallest amount of memory used in computing,

       equivalent to one typed character.   A Kilo byte is 1000 bytes, A megabyte is 1000 kilobytes.

     So a Mb is 1000 x 1000 bytes.    So you can say a picture of say 100 kb has 100,000

      pieces of information in it ,  A picture with 1 Mb has 1,000,000 pieces of information.

      Jpeg is a way of compressing information when you save a picture.  So I'm going to stop

       there, because there are all sorts of other things to take into consideration and my head

        is starting to hurt  as I only just got out of bed, and I'm not active until I've had 8 mugs

        of tea, followed by 1 large hot oven baked Cornish Pasty .

        P.S.   If you want pictures restoring you must make a separate topic for each picture.

     If a restorer has posted a restoration on a topic they may not visit that topic again and

     therefore will not see any new pics that you have put on. They could well be working on other

      restorations. It just keeps everything neat and tidy
