Lookup EDNA MARY ALICE NAYLOR

i am trying to find out whether Edna Mary Alice Naylor (1907-- ?) married again after she divorced Ernest Rowland Mills in 1931. He was a good footballer who received an offer to play with Huddesfield in England and didn't return. She was left with a 4 year old son at the time.

According to the Electoral Rolls, she returned to live with her father Walter Meaton Naylor (Hairdresser) in Coonamble, NSW until at least 1943. Walter died in 1944 and no further mention of Edna in the area.

I have seen a reference to a John Joseph Tracey marrying an Edna Mary Mills in 1943 in Coonamble, but she is shown as being born in Broken Hill not Coonamble, and died in 1965 at St Leonards, Sydney and Ancestry shows her parents as James William and Annie (NSW 27079/1965).

A bit of a puzzle and also what happened to Edna son, born about 1927.

In 1937 and 1943, Electoral roll, the woman living with Walter Meaton NAYLOR is Edith Annie NAYLOR.

Found Edna living with her father and Edith Annie at Arthur street in 1943.

Yes, more than one of the name.
I believe the marriage you found to John Joseph TRACEY may be the correct woman.

The couple remained in Coonamble. You have said you have access to the electoral Rolls so you will be able to see them, but I can type up the addresses if you need.

With regard to Edith Annie on the Electoral Rolls, I forgot to mention that she was Walter's third wife.

The information in the SMH for 1988 is correct so thank everyone for your assistance
