his wife died in 1923 aged 28 and he was already deceased at that point.
and his daughter was born in 1921, so its probably 1922/23

Where are you seeing his wife’s death? I can’t see it anywhere.

His wife died in 1923 and is buried in ireland ..she brought my nan back b4 she passed so I imagine her records are in Ireland.
But we knew nothing of my great grandad

You need to register if you have not already used the site.  It is also very useful as it shows mothers maiden surnames on birth indexes before 1911 which are not currently showing on freebmd.  It also shows ages at death from 1837
