Thomas Harding/harden 1830

I am trying not to find a birth record for Thomas harding, father Benjamin. Thomas married emma lucas in 1856. I think he was born in Abdon Shropshire but it may have been Tugford. I can see a Benjamin Harding marriage to Elizabeth Davies in 1822 and records for several of their children birth but cannot find one for Thomas. Any help would be very welcome. Thanks.

Presumably you have Thomas's father as Benjamin from his marriage to Emma Lucas.  What was his occupation and who were the witnesses

Benjamin harden was a labourer
The witnesses were Thomas and Anna lucas...so not much help.
Thomas and Emma were married in stottesden....the county is salop which i think means Shropshire. Thomas's age was 27 and emma 20. thomas's residence at the time was Burwarton.
Any help would be gladly welcomed as i have spent some time searching various sites. Thomas was called harding in later censuses but he is definitely harden on the marriage certificate.

No sign of a Thomas though in the household of Benjamin and Elizabeth in 1841 or 1851

Can't really see anything for 1841. Have you found anything that could be his entry that year?

Yes I had found the 1851 information which seems fit re age and place. I wondered if he had been sent to live somewhere away from home in 1841 if his parents had several children to feed at home. He would have been 11 then so maybe had to work for someone. Its frustrating that i cannot find the birth registration anywhere.

Thomas's birthplace is given as Ludford, Shropshire born 1831

In later censuses his birth year varies between 1829 and 1834! Sometimes ludford and sometimes abdon
 They are all close to cleo Mortimer and Burwarton where he lived at different times. Would be great to find a connection to his father Benjamin somehow...unless he did not really know who his dad was!
