Thomas Cocking England to Australia

I'm trying to find when and how Thomas Cocking arrived in Australia. He was born 1814 in Cornwall, England and died Dec 1895 in Victoria. The death notice in The Argus 24 Dec 1895 says ..."A colonist of 50 years" which suggests he arrived about 1845. Any help in finding specific dates and ship of his arrival would be appreciated.

Is it possible that he arrived with wife (Mary Ann WILLIAMS?) and 2 children (Thomas, William?) via South Australia in May 1847 (ship=Theresa)?: https://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/48544529?searchTerm=cocking
After they had a few children in SA (Stephen, James, Joseph? ), they would arrive in Victoria between 1852 and 1854 where they were to have some more children....

Jamjar had already given you James’ and Joseph’s SA birth registrations, but Stephen was missing as early SA births are not always complete ...

However, from his 1878 marriage reg#861: Stephen COCKING POB Burra Burra X Emma SMITH POB Lancashire. And when Stephen dies in Castlemaine in 1919, his age is 71 i.e. b abt 1848.
