Can't find this birth registration

I'm trying to find the birth registration for Birdie Florence BRIGGS. Father William BRIGGS, mother Matilda ROFFEY. Her married name was CROSS.

According to the 1891, 1901 and 1911 censuses she was born in London in 1881.

The 1939 register has her as being born 4th Aug 1880 and death registration also has her birth as 1880.

She was baptised in 1885 but I can't find the birth. It's curious because her parents married in 1871 and had no other children which I find a bit unusual.

Can anybody find her?!

It's curious because her parents married in 1871 and had no other children which I find a bit unusual.

It seems they did have another child, born and died in the same quarter in 1875.

GRO index has the mother's maiden name as ROFFEY

Yes that's the marriage. I wasnt aware of other children but just saw the posts above.

She would be born before the marriage though and not with the family in earlier census. 1881 44/14/2
