Missing Edith Smithson from Census Records
« on: Monday 21 September 20 10:02 BST (UK) »
Hi To You All.
I have come up against a problem that needs more help.
My Great Great Aunt Edith Johnson nee Smithson has vanished from the Census records.
I have her on the 1881 Census Born in 1871 with her parents.
I have her on the 1891 Census Born in 1871 as a Domestic Servant  in Hanover Square London.
The Problem is I cannot find her in the 1901 or the 1911 Census records.
Cannot find a Marriage for her.
In the 1930s she was living in Ridsdale Road, District of Penge, Croydon.
Can some one help me to find the marriage to a Mr Johnson.
The Parents of Edith Smithson are William Pratt Smithson and Isabella Smithson nee Cull.
Regards
Jedi James

Looking at Edith Eva's baptism again, it may say that father Henry was a farrier.
