Recommend a reasearcher?
« on: Monday 21 September 20 10:20 BST (UK) »
Hello, can anyone recommend a researcher for the Roxb. area?
Trying to get further back with my family (The Knox’s). I have managed to get back to Andrew Knox baptised to Thomas in 1690 Ashkirk.
So already quite far back. Would need a researcher who can do this era.
Thanks In advance 😊

Have a look on ASGRA (Association of Scottish Genealogists and Researchers in Archives) and see if there's anyone who may be able to help. Their website is www.asgra.co.uk

Ask around yourself other genealogists. Check to see if there any records existing. Had the people made wills/land transactions, etc. etc. No records for poorer people who had no land/money/ except for Baptism/Marriage/Death when available. Or if you live far away from any records.
