Looking for my dads grave plot

Hi, I’m looking for information/my dads grave plot he died when I was 2 I know the following information. I don’t live local any more and visiting and want to go to his grave I haven’t being since very young child and don’t speak to any family that know.

Name; Michael Cook
Born; Castleford, West Yorkshire
Death; 1993
Buried; Harehills, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Your fathers death was registered in November 1993 which may help when you contact Leeds Council

Do you know for certain he was buried rather than cremated?

Pre-1987 records for Harehills Cemetery have been transcribed by Yorkshire Indexers. They say that "Records after this date are computerised and held at Leeds City Council Offices, Lawnswood together with the original registers, grave books and grave plans."

That gives some hope that even if Kevlip doesn't have complete information, they might be able to find the right entry in the database.
