James Morrow - Humber Street 1880
« on: Tuesday 22 September 20 17:05 BST (UK) »
Hi, Wonder if anyone can provide information on Humber Street. I have my Great Grandfather's birth registration showing 36 Humber Street and I presumed it was Belfast. Humber Street is not on the Belfast Street directory of 1880 although in 1890 states a few houses?

Apparently it was off Dee St. Maybe Humber Court now.

It's on the 1919 - 1963 map
Parallel with Dee St, near the main road not too far left of The Oval
https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/services/search-proni-historical-maps-viewer

It's on quite a few of the maps, but Dee Street is a bit confusing, on some maps it curves to the right of Humber St. on others appears to go straight up to the left of Humber St.
