My wedding ring was a J,really tiny.
My hands and feet were swollen at the end of my third pregnancy.
No home births in Belgium and Nuns who were Midwives were at Maternity Clinics.
I said I was not going into such a clinic without a wedding ring !
So OH bought a silver one that.looked like white gold
Own ring bsck on again but as the years passed knuckles swollen with arthritis ,so for Ruby Wedding a new ring .
OH then wore my ring on his little finger left hand ,but he was left handed and it wore so thin.
It was so sad when it was given back to me after his death.
It is just too big to be safe for me to wear again on my little finger.
We got six silver plated spoons with it when we bought it.

Well we were, he had common sense ,a hard worker ,truly decent and was soooo good looking.
Me ,well, daft, but determined to “ make a go of it “ just to prove to people who thought I was too young that I wasn’t.
He made it easy.
I am so sorry that youngsters now have this hanging over them, pretty much out of their control, isn’t it.

Some pears I got last weekend are now so juicy and sweet ,oh, that reminds me, three more figs will be ready,must look.Got some cream .
