Dating my Carte de Visite Photograph

Hello, I'm delighted to find this wonderful site.
Please find attached a family photo.
We are trying to identify the sitters, we could narrow it down if we had a date.
G Brown and Son were in business in the 1880, and 90's I understand.
According to your website the format of the card suggests a date between 1873 and 1900 or 1910.
Would anyone have a more precise idea? Not much to go on, but perhaps the hair and clothes may help?

Are they twins ? If not definitely sisters who are close in age.

If there is writing or a design of any sort on the reverse of the card it would be useful if you could also post a scan of that, as its a useful aid to dating.

Not much to go on is there.
The cardstock is typical 1880's/90's.
However the neckline suggests 1890's.
As JenB said the back might help.

Yes I also think they are sister but not necessarily twins.
There is nothing on the back alas, just plain black.

On that basis I'd stick with 1890's & possibly into the early Edwardian Era.
They look between 15-19.
I wouldn't expect to see older girls with their hair down any later.
