It definitely says Wolworth, but I wonder if the writer might have been confused.

Walworth is/was in Surrey, and strictly speaking it would have been incorrect to give the location as London

I agree. While it’s clearly written Wolworth, I think it's very unlikely that Walworth or Newington would be described as London in 1614/15. This marriage was at St Mary Stratford Bow, very close to the City of London. And as John was recorded in the marriage register as a Gouldsmith, the City seems more likely.

He was Lord Mayor of London in 1643, Goldsmith Company.

Boyd claims he died in 1658, without issue, buried at Highgate, and there is a PCC will.

ADDED - also a PCC will for his widow Rebecca, 1660.
