What's the source of your 1910 info?
Have you checked him out on the 1911 Census, including the Enumerator's list? Trying to reconcile his entry in col 12 of his 1911 Census return with the description of the premises by the Enumerator.

In 1911 Thomas is in Fore Street - Polruan, across the river. Describes himself as working from home (col 12). Yet the enumerator describes it as a Private premises.

It is good to see that there is still a bakery on Fore street . All these discoveries regarding my ancestor Thomas Hender are promising. You have the right man here b1886. I do not live in Cornwall so the library is not an option for research . My next step is to follow up the Family Search site leads you offered. The old photo of the Hender bakery in Fowey gives me  a nostalgic moment. Thank you. I appreciate all your support in finding such interesting/valuable information about the bakery.

Yes! that 1939 register will be an interesting one . I haven't come across a Lewis Hender before .
