I have his birth, 30/5/1832; his baptism 29/6/1832;
and death at Solihull 04/1908; Probate 17/6/1908.
I have 1841 Census at Melbourne Pl. Age 9
No 2851, 1861, 1871 Censuses. Can you supply, Please?

Could be him 1881 as a Lodger, age 49
1891 with his mother at an indecipherable road in Yardley, age 59.
No, 1901 Census

Not convinced he married in 1888 to Mary Ann, but could be persuaded.

William Withers Vallant is on the 1861 Army Index , serving with the 34th Foot ( Cumberland ) in Fyzabad.

He received the Indian Mutiny medal , with Lucknow clasp, enlisted 23 April 1853 at Birmingham & was discharged 4 May 1864.

1891 census he is with his wife , Elizabeth , and 2 Pillsbury sons  in Yardley :

1851 he is William Valant a Grocers Shopman in Birmingham.

As you know Samuel married Elizabeth Withers 6 Jan 1829 Birmingham.

Samuel was Bapt 4 Apr 1799 (born 26 Jan 1798) to Samuel/Ann.

His Parents married 22 Feb 1791 (FreeREG)
