Yes of course.  I remembered brynawel was next to the post office and general store and thought maybe that was the family.

Thank you

I'm guessing the sisters, I mentioned ,must have been daughters of james brother? Mentioned in the will as an executor.

Just because he was an executor does not mean that the sisters were his daughters.

There is also a brother Morgan and a brother William.

As soon as brynawel was mentioned, I thought they must have run the post office and general store . Didnt know it was also a drapers.  When I knew it , it was quite small.

Caio though small was important in its day. I understand it supported 5 pubs and was a drovers centre. There is a lovely church there.

That's true.

I've not been doing much research for a long time.  Must remember not to jump to conclusions.

So the family had a farmi n caio district?

In 1945 an Esther Mair Davies of Maescadog Farm was killed in a car accident.

She can be found in 1939, with her family, living at Maescadog.  The next door house is Albert Mount, with a general stores owner, retired, as occupant.

Added:
There is a Davies family at the farm nowadays.

Yes the current davies family are not related to the family of Esther Mair Davies.

She was my cousin,  a lovely girl who we still sadly miss.

She was run over in the village one night by a drunk lorry driver.

Further to the two spinster morgan sisters I now know there was a third who married and had two daughters. Both the daughters became nuns
