Ideas for Finding this Marriage
« on: Monday 28 September 20 07:41 BST (UK) »
Good evening,
Family legend has it that great grandmother's sister ? McDermott went to Australia, (either from New Zealand or County Clare, Ireland), and married ? Heneberry - a relation of Fred Heneberry the boxer.

As great grandmother married in New Zealand in 1866 I imagine her sister's marriage would be in the 1860's or 1870's.

I do not know in which state this marriage took place.

Do you have any hints for looking, other than slowly trawling through each state's records?

Thank you
Jean Price

Yes, I think James might belong to that family too. But can't see his birth registration

Meanwhile I think this is Sarah Ann's death - modified to comment, notice another sister married a Henneberry
