Last years post
https://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=818628.0

We discussed burials, and it seems that since then Deceased Online have added the burial registers of Earlham Cemetery in Norwich.
Could they provide a breakthrough?

Robert's death reg hasn't been found, but his body now has!
Burial 18 August 1870, Robert Eglington
Free index on DO says that there are two others buried in the grave.

I mentioned the twin daughters born to Robert and Hannah in March qtr 1867 who both died Dec qtr  same year.
We now have
Emma Martha Eglington, buried 17 Nov 1867 (4 others in grave)
Ellen Sarah Eglington, buried 20 Nov 1867 (3 others in grave)

Perhaps no family plot.

Cross reference with some others who can be found on DO free index who have the same GRO ref as Anna Eagleton, June quarter 1878 Norwich 4b 63
I would think all are buried at Earlham Cemetery?

Henry Edwd Andrews, buried 12 May 1878
Lewis Bacon, 1 May 1878
Emma Maria Forster, 15 May
Clara Haze, 23 April
Ellen Emily Shave, 6 May 1878

So we now have a death record, a burial, in 1878, of a Hannah Eglington of the right age (50), in the right place (Norwich)
She is recorded as Anna Eagleton in the GRO death index (as I flagged up last year)

Hopefully this is something that Nicky could look into more closely.
John

certificate has arrived, its most definitely her, wrong name but right first name of husband,  husbands occupation right, registered by a sister Sarah, right address.

I would like to thank everyone for their help. Pretty impressed by speed of GRO too.
