Tree on Ancestry has parents as Catherine Fannon (1865-1894) and James S McCrea.  Not yet found any sources.

John McCray, birth year given as 1885, born Colchester, Suffolk.

Was a labourer on enlistment, Leinster Regiment, Service No. 7177050, attested on 03 Dec 1903 aged 18 years and one month.

Attested at Birr.

Alice's daughter Elizabeth Brooker married 1940 Bristol, her first child born 1942 has mmn as McCrae

Thank you for your reply. I found the information on the 1939 register, they had the incorrect name Mcgray, it is McCray.
