Looking for STEVENSON family.

The details I have so far are: County Armagh. William and Mary Stevenson (nee Waddell), son Joseph, born 1843, emigrated to Melbourne Australia about maybe 1863. Any help gratefully received.

Hi, I wasn't able to immediately find anything - where have you looked?  Do you have the Australian passenger lists to trawl through or any siblings or parents names to see if they provide any clues?

I haven't looked very deeply yet. I have good detail of descendants in Australia, but access to shipping indexes and other records is a bit difficult while Melbourne is in COVID lockdown. We are currently restricted to 5km from home and most of our offices are closed. I know Joseph married here in Australia in 1874 and his death certificate (1911) says "44 years in the State of Victoria", which make the journey out about 1867.
There are a number of siblings which I may follow up now. I am learning my way around Ancestry.com for a trial month. I can see how addictive this family history thing can become.
