Was there a divorce for Evelyn Southern and Henry Wood ?

Hi, a brick wall of mine, Evelyn Southern ( born oct 2nd 1894 ) married in 1917 a man called Henry Wood and they had a son called Ronald Wood born 1919 in Chester and may have had another called  Harold Wood in 1924 in Manchester but other than Ronald it is uncertain as to how many children they had.
Henry marries for the second time in 1930 in Cheshire to a lady called Flora Barber and they have a few children.
My question is, what happened to Evelyn and also her son Ronald ?

Buying a copy of the 1930 marriage cert will show whether Henry was a widower or divorcee when he married

As you have Evelyn's full birthdate have you checked the 1939 register for Evelyn's with that birthdate?

I cant find evelyn or her son Ronald in the 1939 sorry, i dont know ronalds DOB but Evelyns birth is recored with her christening that can be seen in the family search site, evelyns parents where john southern and elizabeth ann bradbury.
Also can not  confirm a death date that fits,i am thinking maybe they went to another country or something like that ?

I can't find anything obvious online either.  Unfortunately there are too many Evelyn Wood marriages post 1930 to determine if she also remarried.

Have you checked the National Archives for a divorce?

Only Ronald’s birth is showing on freebmd with mmn Southern

Birth was June qtr 1919 and there is a 1984 death in Cheshire for a Ronald Wood b 8.5.1919

thank you for your help, i dont know if the ronald who died in 1984 is the same one but will keep the info to one side while i keep doing my research,thank you every ne for taking a look for me.
no doubt i will be back at some time with more.
