Never mind a spell-checker, who's going to bring out a context-checker?  :-[

It did make me smile though Pauline once John had drawn attention to it.  Just what I needed on this wet and cold day.

Is this the death of Charles?
June 1869 Poplar 1c 453

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSRG-T9LP-7

A+D also on ancestry, adds nothing.

Charles Butcher, age 54.
Where buried Victoria Park Cemetery

Here it is on FamilySearch, Charles Butcher, buried 4 April 1869
(as always, note that VPC was in Bethnal Green, not Hackney)

In 1851 Charles is not with the family.  All children b Bow

Sophia 32 b St James M'sex
Charles 10
Mary Ann 9
James 7
John 6
Sophia 3
HO107 1555/116/21

They were in Three Colts Street (where else!) in 1851, at number 17
Here is that bit of it in 1861, according to the enumerator at least
piece 303 from folio 145 (start of the ED)

But some of Three Colts Street in Bow is listed as MISSING in 1861
See here
Poplar Registration District, 1861 Census Street Index S-T

By the way, for those looking, Charles Butcher was a floor cloth printer.

Also I have no death certificate for Charles
Any help

Previous suggested death was one from 1863, I think the 1869 one more likely.

Wife Sophia died in Bethnal Green in 1875, according to melody3baby.
