Donald Trump has announced that he and his wife Melania have tested positive for coronavirus, after it was found one of his aids had tested positive.

For my part, I hope he feels miserably sick for the next month; and his revolting wife and children, too.  I'll stop short of wishing for anything more drastic.

I wouldn't wish the suffering of covid on anyone.  I'm particularly worried about how many could have been infected considering the number of people they interact with and the number of people they in turn interact with.  Potential superspreader event.

That's very high-minded of you.  As Trump himself has said, "It is what it is."  I hope he gets a good close-up look at what it is.

Just because he is a vile human being does not mean that I have to lower myself to his standards.  I will admit though I am more concerned about people he may have infected eg protection detail, Whitehouse cleaners, their families etc.
